Hi, I’m Rob — a Carolina-born traveler, storyteller, and founder of CarolinaTravelPop.com.

This blog began as a love letter to the Carolinas — to the mountain trails I’ve hiked, the beach towns I’ve wandered, and the small cafés where I’ve lingered over strong coffee and stronger conversations.
With a background in journalism and a lifelong passion for photography, I created this space to capture more than just travel tips — I wanted to share the feeling behind the places.

Whether I’m writing about Asheville’s Blue Ridge charm, the coastal breeze of the Outer Banks, or the historic streets of Raleigh and Winston Salem, my goal is always the same: to help you connect with places that stay with you long after you’ve left.
